Ryan Bourque Assistant Coach

Hometown Topsfield, Mass.

The 2023-24 season will be Bourque’s first year as an assistant coach for USA Hockey's National Team Development Program.

Bourque, an NTDP alum (2007-09), comes to USA Hockey after two seasons as an assistant coach for the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays, where he helped lead the team to a South Division championship in 2022-23.

Bourque played nine seasons of professional hockey from 2011-2020. The Topsfield, Mass., native skated in 585 American Hockey League games with the Connecticut Whale, Hartford Wolf Pack, Hershey Bears and Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Bourque reached the game's top level in the 2014-15 season with the New York Rangers.

In his time on Team USA at the NTDP, he tallied 61 points (22g-39a) in 77 games. Additionally, Bourque brought home four medals for the United States, including golds at the 2009 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship and 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship.
