Caleigh Burchfield Communications

Hometown Lakeville, Conn.

Caleigh Burchfield enters her first season as coordinator of communications for USA Hockey's National Team Development Program and USA Hockey Arena during the 2024-25 campaign, and second on staff, having served as USA Hockey's Brian Fishman Fellow from 2022-24.

Burchfield has been on staff as the digital content manager for Team USA at two IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championships, including the 2023 squad that captured the gold medal and 2024 team that won silver.

In addition, Burchfield served as the communications lead for the championship-winning 2022 U.S. Junior Select Team, as well as the 2023-24 U.S. National Under-17 Team, 2022 U.S. Under-18 Select Team and 2022 U.S. Under-17 Select Team. She was also on the communications staff for the 2022-23 Rivalry Series with the U.S. Women’s National Team.

The Lakeville, Connecticut, native, who graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University with honors in communication studies last May, joined USA Hockey after three years with St. Lawrence University’s women’s hockey team as a multi-media publicist. She spent one season as a staff writer/multi-media intern for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins after six months as a communications intern for Major League Lacrosse.
