Darryl Nelson is in his 18th season with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program and has established the highly regarded off-ice training program for NTDP players.

Nelson came to USA Hockey from Boston, where he worked at Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning Clinic. Nelson also served as an intern at the International Performance Institute in Bradenton, Florida, where he worked with Major League Baseball and the National Football League.

Nelson received his bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 1997 and his master’s degree in 1999 from the University of Georgia.
