Team USA, USA Hockey Arena and corporate sponsors are teaming up with the Michigan Veterans Region 9 VCAT for the 12th Annual Salute to Heroes Appreciation Weekend dedicated to celebrating our local veterans, first responders, active military and their families.  

Team USA hosts the Youngstown Phantoms on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 for  Team USA's  Salute to Heroes Appreciation Nights at USA Hockey Arena. We continue a very special tradition as we host a weekend of appreciation nights dedicated to our local heroes.  Our brave men and women who currently serve, are military veterans, first responders and their families received free admission to either game along with enjoying a  large veteran resource fair,  food vouchers, family-fun activities for kids, special guests and recognition. Over 1,800 local heroes & family members attended last year. 

Recently we proudly revealed our 2023 Commemorative Jerseys, designed by Motor City Veterans Hockey Association  President Michael Palmer. The jerseys will be auctioned online after the weekend on MeiGray auctions and proceeds will benefit Region 9 VCAT and local veterans. Stay tuned on our NTDP channels for details on the auction.
