Eleven NTDP Players Named to 2019 U.S. National Junior Team

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Eleven products of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, including current U18 forward Jack Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) and current U18 goaltender Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn.), were named to the  2019 U.S. National Junior Team that will compete at the 2019 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, from Dec. 26, 2018 - Jan. 5, 2019.

The nine NTDP alumni named to the roster include Evan Barratt (Bristol, Pa.), Joel Farabee (Cicero, N.Y.), Josh Norris (Oxford, Mich.), K’Andre Miller (Saint Paul, Minn.), Logan Cockerill (Brighton, Mich.), Mattias Samuelsson (Voorheen, N.J.), Oliver Wahlstrom (Quincy, Mass.), Phil Kemp (Greenwich, Conn.) and Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.).

ABOUT THE NTDP: USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program is in its 22nd season of competition and is based at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The goal of the full-time development program is to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers. Its efforts focus not only on high-caliber participation on the ice but creating well-rounded individuals off the ice.
