Boldy struck first when he capitalized on a rebound from Drew Helleson (Farmington, Minn.), shooting the puck in from the slot with 9:21 left in the middle frame.

The fourth Team USA goal was recorded with 5:02 left in the second period when Farrell sent the puck five hole off of a rebound from Henry Thrun (Southborough, Mass.) to secure the four-goal lead.

Muskegon’s Danil Guschin scored the lone goal for the Lumberjacks with 9:35 left in the third frame, but an empty-net goal from Boldy with 2:09 to go ultimately sealed Team USA's 5-1 win.
