USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program has a 73-29-0-3-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after its games this past weekend.
The U.S. National Under-17 Team swept its weekend series against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. The U17s traveled to Iowa for their Friday (April 6) game and won in a shootout, 5-4. The following day the U17s topped the Fighting Saints, 5-4 in overtime to sweep the weekend and season series.
The U.S. National Under-18 Team was off in preparation for the IIHF Under-18 World Championship set to begin with a game against Canada on April 19th.
On Thursday, April 12, the U17s travel to Youngstown, Ohio for a morning match-up against the Youngstown Phantoms at 10:00 a.m. EST. They return home to host the Muskegon Lumberjacks the next day, Friday, April 13 at 7:05 p.m. EST for their last regular season game.
