U18s Face Storm, U17s Have Weekend Off

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program has a 63-24-0-3-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after its games this past weekend.

The U.S. National Under-18 Team traveled to Green Bay, where they swept the weekend series against the Green Bay Gamblers. On Friday night (Mar. 2), the U18s won 5-2, and the following night (Saturday, Mar. 3), they defeated the Gamblers 4-1.

At USA Hockey Arena, the U.S. National Under-17 Team won its Saturday (Mar. 3) night game (W, 7-2) against the league-leading Omaha Lancers. They faced the Muskegon Lumberjacks the following day (Sunday, Mar. 4) for a matinee game and lost, 5-4.

The U18s travel Kearney, Nebraska to take on the Tri-City Storm in a weekend series on Saturday (Mar. 10) at 7:35 p.m. CST and Sunday (Mar. 11) afternoon at 3:05 p.m. CST. The U17s have the weekend off from action.

Overall Record: U18: 30-14-0-3 | U17: 33-10-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)
Team USA USHL Record: 30-12-0-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 61 PTS in 43 GP, 1st place in the Eastern Conference, 2nd place in the USHL
