U17s host Lincoln, U18s head to Wisconsin as both teams continue USHL play

NTDP Notebook Week of Feb. 1-7

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 47-20-0-3-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after the weekend games. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to St. Cloud, Minnesota and beat the St. John’s Johnnies (W, 6-1, Jan. 26), and the U17s defeated the Dubuque Fighting Saints (W, 7-4, Jan. 26) at home. On Saturday night, the U18s fell to the seventh-ranked Minnesota State Mavericks (L, 5-3, Jan. 27), and the U17s defeated the Muskegon Lumberjacks at L.C. Walker Arena (W, 10-1, Jan. 27).

The U18s are on the road this weekend as they travel to Middleton, Wisconsin to face-off against the Madison Capitols in a doubleheader on Friday night (Feb. 2) at 7:05 p.m. CT and Saturday night (Feb. 3) at 6:05 p.m. CT. The U17s host the Lincoln Stars on Friday night (Feb 2.) and Saturday night (Feb. 3) at USA Hockey Arena at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Overall Record: U18: 20-13-0-3 | U17: 27-7-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 22-9-0-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 45 PTS in 32 GP, 1st place in the Eastern Conference
