USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 44-19-0-3-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after the U18s and the U17s swept their weekend games. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to Cedar Rapids and beat the RoughRiders (W, 7-6, Jan. 19). On Saturday night, the U18s defeated the Steel in Chicago (W, 6-3, Jan. 20), and the U17s defeated the Sioux Falls Stampede at USA Hockey Arena (W, 4-3, Jan. 20).
The U18s are on the road this weekend as they travel to Collegeville, Minnesota to face-off against the St. John’s University Johnnies on Friday night (Jan. 26) at 8:00 p.m. ET. The following night (Saturday, Jan. 27), the U18s take on Minnesota State at 8:07 p.m. ET at the Verizon Center in Mankato, Minnesota. The U17s host the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Friday night (Jan. 26) at USA Hockey Arena at 7:05 p.m. ET and travel to Muskegon on Saturday (Jan. 26) to face-off against the Lumberjacks at 7:15 p.m. ET.
