The NHL announced the rosters yesterday for its 2018 NHL All-Star Game that will be held in Tampa Bay on Jan. 27-28. The rosters feature five NTDP alumni.
Jack Eichel (2012-14) of the Buffalo Sabres will skate in his first All-Star Game alongside Auston Matthews (2013-15/Toronto Maple Leafs) for the Atlantic Division Team.
Noah Hanifin (2013-14/ Carolina Hurricanes) will also skate in his first All-Star game with fellow NTDP alum Seth Jones (2010-12/ Columbus Blue Jackets), who will skate for his second time, for the Metropolitan Division squad.
Patrick Kane (2004-06/ Chicago Blackhawks) is also heading to Tampa for his seventh All-Star game appearance as the lone alum on the Central Division team.
The weekend includes a skills competition Saturday, Jan.27 before wrapping up the weekend with the All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 28. The All-Star Game will feature a three-game, 3-on-3 format featuring the four divisions teams.
