In 2013-14, ASU captured the ACHA Division I National Championship. The Sun Devils play out of the Oceanside Ice Arena.

Last season, the U18s swept a two-game series with the Sun Devils at Arizona State. On Feb. 27, 2016, the U18s beat ASU, 3-2, in a shootout.  Clayton Keller (2014-16/Boston University) scored the deciding goal in the shootout, while Kieffer Bellows (2014-16/Boston University) and Patrick Khodorenko (2014-16/Michigan State University) scored in regulation. The U18s also beat Arizona State, 5-2, on Feb. 28, 2016.  Bellows scored twice, while Luke Martin (2014-16/University of Michigan) Adam Fox (2014-16/Harvard University) and J.D. WRANGLING THE ROUGHRIDERS: The lone matchup of the weekend for the U.S. National Under-17 Team will be at 8:05 p.m. ET Friday (Feb. 24) against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. This will be the first and only matchup between the two squads this season. The U.S. National Under-18 Team previously faced the RoughRiders on Dec. 8 (W, 1-0) and Jan. 20 (L, 6-3). Cedar Rapids currently sits in ninth place in the Eastern Conference with a 8-33-2-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record.
