Reedy Nets Three; U18s Win Fourth Straight, 7-5

Scott Reedy (Prior Lake, Minn.) tallied a hat-trick in the U.S. National Under-18 Team's 7-5 victory against the Madison Capitols on Saturday evening at Alliant Energy Center.

The victory marks Team USA's fourth consecutive victory and brings its record to 15-14-2 overall on the season. 

The U18s capitalized on all four of its power play opportunities to fuel the victory.

Reedy tallied a goal in each period, including an empty netter with 29 seconds remaining in the third period to seal the victory for the U18s. 

Sean Dhooghe (Aurora, Ill.) scored two goals on the evening for the U18s.

Jacob Tortora (Victor, N.Y.) added his team-leading 13th goal to open the scoring for Team USA and Max Gildon (Plano, Texas) registered a goal and an assist in the win. 

Dylan St. Cyr (Northville, Mich.) picked up his 12th victory of the season and sixth USHL victory after stopping 30 shots. 

The Capitols outshot Team USA 35-33 in the contest. 

The U18s enjoy a holiday break before returning to action on Friday, Dec. 30 with a 2 p.m. matchup against Trinity College at USA Hockey Arena. Fans will be able to skate with the players following the game. Tickets are available at USAHockeyArena.com.
