The U.S. National Under-18 Team fell to the eighth-ranked University of Minnesota, 9-0, here tonight at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.

The Golden Gophers tallied four goals in each of the first two periods of play and added one more in the third period. 

NTDP Alum Ryan Lindgren (2014-16) finished plus-four for the Gophers. Jack Glover (2012-14) added an assist for the evening.

The U18s are back in action next weekend as they continue their NCAA slate with road matchups with the University of Wisconsin (Friday, Oct. 21) and University of Minnesota-Duluth (Saturday, Oct. 22). They will return to the confines of USA Hockey Arena for the first time since Sept. 24 on Saturday, Oct. 29 when they host Princeton University at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at USAHockeyArena.com.
