Of the 42 U.S. players invited to attend the USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp, 26 are former full-time members of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program. The camp will take place from July 30-Aug. 7 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.
The 26 alumni are made up of 14 forwards, 10 defensemen and two goaltenders. Twenty-four players competed for the NTDP in 2014-15, 12 were members in 2013-14 and 11 were members of the program last year.

About the camp: Each August, USA Hockey invites approximately 40 players to its U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp. The camp, which will take place in 2016 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, is part of the process to select the U.S. National Junior Team that will compete at the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, which takes place each December.
In mid-December each year, Team USA conducts a training camp that leads to the selection of the final U.S. National Junior Team. That roster may include players who did not attend the U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp.
