Tortora Added to 2015-16 U.S. National U17 Team Roster

​PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Forward Jacob Tortora (Victor, N.Y.) has been added to the roster of the U.S. National Under-17 Team for the 2015-16 season, it was announced today by USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program. The roster is now set at 13 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.

Tortora spent the 2014-15 season skating for the Don Mills Flyers midget minor program, where he tallied 31 goals and collected 37 assists in 52 games played. The Boston College verbal commit previously spent time with the Don Mills Flyers bantam program in 2013-14.

Note: Tortora recently was named to the U.S. Under-17 Select Team that will compete at the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament from Aug. 10-16 in Arosa, Switzerland.
