Jack Roslovic Notches One Goal and Two Assists; Troy Terry Scores Twice.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Seven players scored and 15 skaters recorded at least one point as the U.S. National Under-18 Team rolled past the Sioux Falls Stampede, 8-2, here this afternoon at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. The Under-18 Team finishes the weekend 3-0 against United States Hockey League competition.

Goals from Troy Terry (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and Jordan Greenway (Potsdam, N.Y.) helped Team USA build a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. Terry struck first 3:09 into the contest when he batted home a Tage Thompson (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) centering feed. Chad Krys (Ridgefield, Conn.), who hit Thompson's stick with a pass in the neutral zone, also earned an assist on the play. Greenway doubled the U.S. advantage 9:20 into the frame when he crashed the net and swatted a Clayton Keller (Swansea, Ill.) pass just inside the far post. Joseph Masonius (Spring Lake, N.J.) was credited with the second assist.

The U.S. netted four goals in the middle period and carried a 6-2 advantage into the final stanza. Christian Fischer (Wayne, Ill.) made it 3-0 at 5:04 of the frame when he skated around the net and knocked in a rebound. Keller and Steven Ruggiero (Kings Park, N.Y.) had the helpers on the play. Sioux Falls got on the board three minutes later, but goals by Nicholas Boka (Plymouth, Mich.) and Matthew Tkachuk (St. Louis, Mo.) in a 30-second span boosted the Team USA lead to 5-1. Boka picked a spot between the goaltender's pads with help from Jeremy Bracco (Freeport, N.Y.) and Greenway. Tkachuk one-timed a cross-crease pass from Jack Roslovic (Columbus, Ohio) into the top corner. Charles McAvoy (Long Beach, N.Y.) was also credited with an assist on the Tkachuk goal. Then, after the Stampede got a goal back to make it 5-2, Auston Matthews (Scottsdale, Ariz.) cashed in on a great individual play to send the U18s to the locker room up, 6-2. Roslovic and Krys had the helpers on Matthews' tally.

Roslovic tapped in a backdoor pass from Ruggiero to make it 7-2 just 1:39 into the third stanza. Matthews also assisted on the goal. Terry scored his second of the contest after taking a pass from Michael Floodstrand (Hinsdale, Ill.) and picking the top corner to close out the 8-2 victory.

Jake Oettinger (Lakeville, Minn.) started in net for the U.S. National Under-18 Team and turned aside 27 shots.

The U.S. National Under-18 Team takes to the road next weekend for tilts against Bloomington (March 13) and Chicago (March 14). Both games begin at 8 p.m. ET and can be seen on FASTHockey.com.
