ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Jake Oettinger (Lakeville, Minn.) made 34 saves and Joey Anderson (Roseville, Minn.) scored one goal, but the U.S. National Under-17 Team was upended by the Tri-City Storm, 5-1, tonight at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube.

Team USA got on the board first after Anderson knocked in his own rebound 5:54 into the first frame. Clayton Keller (Swansea, Ill.) took a pass from Chad Krys (Ridgefield, Conn.) on the wall and dished it to Anderson in the slot. Anderson's initial shot was turned away, but he batted home the rebound. The Storm answered back with breakaway goal from Cody Milan at 11:26, sending the U17s to the locker room knotted at 1-1.

Chris Wilkie scored Tri-City's second goal on the power play 6:16 into period two before Chase Hatcher and Mattias Goransson notched goals to increase the Stroms' lead to 4-1 after two frames.

Jason Krych connected on the power play late in the third period to close the scoring.
