FLINT, Mich. - Collin Adams (Brighton, Mich.) scored twice and Clayton Keller (Swansea, Ill.) notched a single goal, but the U.S. National Under-17 Team fell to the NAHL's Michigan Warriors, 6-3, at the Flint Iceland Arenas here today.

Michigan carried a 1-0 advantage into the first intermission before Keller and Adams struck back-to-back in the second stanza. Keller first tied the score, 1-1, just 4:16 into the frame when he collected a rebound in front of the net and slid it past Warriors goaltender Trevor Gorsuch. Adams then gave Team USA a 2-1 edge at 9:29 on a great individual effort. After picking the puck up at center, Adams wheeled wide into the offensive zone. Cutting around a defenseman, Adams tucked the puck into the far corner of the net.

Michigan tied the contest at 10:52, before Adams one-timed a Trent Frederic (St. Louis, Mo.) feed past Gorsuch for his second tally and Team USA's second lead.

Michigan scored two, late second-period markers before adding two more tallies, one with the netminder pulled, in the final stanza to close out the 6-3 victory.

Michael Campoli (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Graham McPhee (Bethesda, Md.), Adam Fox (Jericho, N.Y.) and Keeghan Howdeshell (Brighton, Mich.) all recorded assists in the contest.

Team USA goaltender Joseph Woll (Dardenne Prairie, Mo.) started the game and made 11 saves before Jake Oettinger (Lakeville, Minn.) entered and turned aside 12 Michigan shots.

The U.S. National Under-17 Team is off until Friday (Sept. 12) when it hosts the Muskegon Lumberjacks at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be held at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube, home of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program.
