YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The U.S. National Under-17 Team fell to the Youngstown Phantoms, 8-1, tonight inside the Covelli Centre.

The Phantoms got on the board early in the first, :35 seconds in, to take a 1-0 lead. However, the U.S. evened things up at 7:25 off the blade of Broden McArthur (Dallas, Texas). Braden Horton (Souderton, Pa.) crossed the blue line and surveyed the ice before he found a dashing McArthur who netted one on Team USA's first shot of the night.

The Phantoms tallied twice more before the end of the frame, at 16:10 on the power play and at 18:04, to take a 3-1 lead after 20.
