USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 19-27-6-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team split their Kroger College Series games and the Under-17 Team took home third place at the Vierumaki Cup. On December 12th, the U18s traveled to Canton, N.Y. and beat St. Lawrence University (W, 3-2). The following afternoon, the U18s fell tp Clarkston University (L, 8-2, Dec. 13). The U17s traveled to Vierumäki, Finland, and earned a third-place finish in their second international tournament, posting a 3-0-1-0 record with two wins over host nation Finland and one victory against Switzerland.
The U18s go on the road next Monday as they travel to Bowling Green, Ohio to face-off against Bowling Green State University (Dec. 29) at 7:07 p.m. ET. The following night (Tuesday, Dec. 30), the U18s host Utica University at 7:00 p.m. ET at USA Hockey Arena. The U17s host the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday night (Dec. 27) at USA Hockey Arena at 7:00 p.m. ET and then travel to Muskegon on Sunday (Dec. 28) to face-off against the Lumberjacks at 3:05 p.m. ET.
