Under-18 Team Travels to Youngstown Saturday Night

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 14-25-5-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team swept the CHL Prospects and the Under-17 Team dropped their three games. On Tuesday night, the U18s traveled to up to Calgary, Alberta and defeated by the CHL's top draft-eligible players in the CHL-USA Prospects Challenge (W, 4-2, Nov. 25). On Wednesday night, the U18s played the Prospects in the second game of the Challenge and beat the CHL (W, 4-4) in Super Overtime. The U17s fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks at USA Hockey Arena (L, 6-4). The U17s dropped their road series to the Sioux Falls Stampede on Friday and Saturday night (L, 11-3) and (L, 5-2).

The U18s are at home Friday night as they host the Lincoln Stars at USA Hockey Arena on Friday night (Dec. 5) at 7:00 p.m. ET. The following night (Dec.6), the U18s travel to Youngstown to take on the Phantoms at 6:05 p.m. ET. The U17s then host the Lincoln Stars on Saturday night (Dec. 6) at 7:00 p.m. ET in the annual Teddy Bear Toss game.

Overall Record: U18: 7-12-0-1 | U17: 8-11-4-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 4-14-3-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 11 PTS in 21 GP, 8th place in the Eastern Conference
