PLYMOUTH, Mich. Jamie Glance (Stratham, N.H.) recorded an NTDP career-high four assists to go along with a career-high five points as the U.S. National Under-18 Team completed the weekend sweep over the Chicago Steel after a 5-2 win tonight from USA Hockey Arena.

Just like the night previous, Team USA got on the board first off the blade of Logan Stuart (Manhattan Beach, Calif.). On the power play, Glance surveyed the ice in the neutral zone and found Stuart behind the Steel defense who fired it past Chicago's starting netminder Sam Caulfield at 1:44.

The Steel got one back though as it converted on its first power play of the night at 11:07 of the first. Chicago nearly made it 2-1 but starting U.S. netminder Brady Knowling (Chicago, Ill.) went post-to-post to make a point-blank save.

Sammy Nelson (Maple Grove, Minn.) responded with his sixth tally of the year off another power play opportunity for Team USA. Nelson, Glance and AJ Francisco (Hermantown, Minn.) worked it around the zone before Glance shuffled a pass across the ice to Nelson with an open net to work with and made it 2-1 at 16:39.

It was an even middle period as the Steel nearly edged Team USA in shots, 11-8, but the U.S. kept its 2-1 lead as neither team found twine in the second.

The first even strength goal of the night was tallied :45 seconds into the third period, courtesy of Victor Plante (Hermantown, Minn.). An offensive zone draw was won before Abe Barnett (Wilmette, Ill.) held the puck at the blue line. He fed it to Glance who found Plante and put it past Caulfield to make it 3-1.

It wasn't long before Parker Trottier (Edina, Minn.) netted one of his own as he made it 4-1 at 4:12. After a flurry in front of the net, the puck squeaked out to Glance who fired it towards the crease where Trottier was and put it across the goal line.

The Steel tallied its second power play goal of the night at 14:09 of the third to make it 4-2 and made a final push with its net empty moments later. Glance capped off his five-point night as he dumped one into the empty net at 18:33 to secure the 5-2 win.

Knowling stopped 28 shots en route to the win.
