USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 5-13-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team and the Under-17 Team dropped their weekend games. On Friday night, the U18s faced off against Lake Superior State and fell to the Lakers (L, 6-2, Oct. 17). On Saturday night, the U18s lost to Ferris State (L, 5-0, Oct. 18). The U17s played the Green Bay Gamblers on Thursday night and came up short (L, 6-2, Oct. 16). Then, on Friday night, the U17s suffered a loss at Youngstown (L, 7-3, Oct.17).

The U18s are on the road this weekend for the Kroger College Series as they travel to Niagara University to face-off against the Purple Eagles on Friday night (Oct. 24) at 6:00 p.m. ET. The following night (Saturday, Jan. 27), the U18s travel to Cornell University to take on the Big Red at 7:00 p.m. ET. The U17s are on the road as well, as they travel to Des Moines to take on the Buccaneers on Friday (Oct. 24) and Saturday (Oct. 25) night, both at 8:05 p.m. ET.
