U17s and U18s Set For Big Weekend at USA Hockey Arena

NTDP Notebook Week of October 12-18

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters the weekend with a 5-9-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record following a busy slate of games. The Under-18 Team dropped its Thursday night matchup on the road against the Wisconsin Badgers (L, 6-0, Oct. 9), while the Under-17 Team split its home-and-home series with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The U17s opened their home schedule with a 4-3 win on Friday night (Oct. 10) before falling in the rematch in Muskegon on Saturday (L, 6-0, Oct. 11).

This weekend, the U18s continue NCAA play with a pair of Kroger College Series games at USA Hockey Arena. On Friday, Oct. 17, Team USA welcomes Lake Superior State University at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup against Ferris State University on Saturday night at the same time.

Meanwhile, the U17s are set for a two-game stretch of their own. They’ll host the Green Bay Gamblers on Thursday (Oct. 16) at 7:00 p.m. ET at USA Hockey Arena before traveling to face the Youngstown Phantoms on Friday (Oct. 17) with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET.

Overall Record: U18: 1-6-0-1 | U17: 4-3-2-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 2-5-2-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 6 PTS in 9 GP, 8th place in the Eastern Conference
