U18s Play Pair of Kroger College Series Games, U17s Set for Three-Game USHL Road Trip

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 4-3-2-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team dropped both USHL games and the Under-17 Team swept their NAHL Showcase games. On Friday night, the U18s hosted Youngstown and lost to the Phantoms (L, 3-1, Sept. 26). The U17s traveled to Blaine, Minn. and beat the Aberdeen Wings (2-1, Sept. 26). On Saturday night, the U18s fell to the Phantoms (L, 5-2, Sept. 27), and the U17s defeated the Rochester Jr. Americans at the NSC Super Rink (W, 2-1, Sept. 27).

The U18s host the University of Notre Dame this Friday at USA Hockey Arena (Oct. 3) at 7:00 p.m. ET. The following night (Oct. 4), the U18s travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. to take on Western Michigan University at 6:00 p.m. ET. The U17s go on the road to face the Madison Capitols on Friday night (Oct. 3) at Bob Suter's Legacy Arena at 8:05 p.m. ET, and continue the road trip on Saturday (Oct. 4) and Sunday (Oct. 5) against the Green Bay Gamblers at 7:05 p.m. ET and 4:05 p.m. ET, respectively.

Overall Record: U18: 1-3-1-1 | U17: 3-0-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 1-2-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 3 PTS in 4 GP, 7th place in the Eastern Conference
