USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 46-58-3-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team won its pair of games on the weekend while the Under-17 Team fell in a trio of road games. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to Des Moines and took care of business against the Buccaneers (W, 8-4, March 28), followed by a win at Waterloo Saturday night (W, 3-1, March 29). The U17s started the weekend off with a pair at Cedar Rapids as it fell both Friday (L, 7-1, March 28) and Saturday (L, 6-4, March 29), followed by a loss in Green Bay to end the weekend (L, 6-2, March 30).
The U17s are off, while the U18s hit the road one last time before it closes out the season at USA Hockey Arena. Team USA heads to the west side of the state to face the Muskegon Lumberjacks Friday Night (April 4) at 7:10 p.m. ET. The team then returns home Saturday (April 5) to take on the Waterloo Black Hawks for Billet Appreciate Night and Just Drive Night! presented by the Kiefer Foundation. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 p.m. ET.
