GREEN BAY, Wisc. - Wyatt Cullen (Moorhead, Minn.) and Landon Hafele (Fairbanks, Alaska) score, but the U.S. National Under-17 Team fall to the Green Bay Gamblers in a 6-2 loss Sunday afternoon at the Resch Center.
Team USA struck early in the first period. Landon Hafele made a fantastic feed to a streaking Wyatt Cullen. Cullen on the break, made a move and beat the Green Bay goaltender, lighting the lamp for his sixth of the season.

Elliot Gulley answered back for Green Bay, just 72 seconds later.
The U17s were able to capitalize on a great shot by Landon Hafele near the end of the first period. Tipping a pass, Hafele beat two Gamblers players to the puck. Speeding past the defenseman, he fired a missile into the back of the net, giving Team USA the 2-1 lead.
The second period was all Green Bay Gamblers. Geno Carcone got back-to-back goals to start off the scoring. Then Will Zellers and Zach Wooten scored a minute and a half apart from each other, putting the Gamblers up 5-2.
After a late power play goal off the stick of Aidan Park, Gamblers made the final score 6-2.
Brady Knowling (Chicago, Ill.) stopped 36 shots in the loss.
