CEDAR RAPIDS, IA. - Brody George (Johnstown, Pa.) gets his fifth of the year, as the U.S. National Under-17 Team dropped a 7-1 decision to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at ImOn Ice Arena Friday night.
Cedar Rapids started the scoring early at 18:53 in the first period. Robert Chlan collected the puck in front and capitalized on the rebound to make it 1-0.

The RoughRiders capitalized again, after Maxon Vig passed it to Amine Hajibifor the tap-in goal to make the score 2-0 going into the second period.
Cedar Rapids took over in the second. Starting off with another goal by Amine Hajibifor at 11:36. Then, Joseph Mense scored on the rush making the game 4-0. At the 18:13 mark, Joey Musa fired a shot giving the RoughRiders a 5-0 lead into the third.
Brody George was able to get the U17s on the board in the 3rd. After a shot on goal from Landon Haefle (Fairbanks, Alaska), George followed the rebound and put one home for Team USA.
Hawke Huff got another one for Cedar Rapids in the third, which finished the game a 7-1 contest.
Brady Knowling made 19 saves and was supported by Luke Carrithers who stopped 14 shots.
The U17s take on Cedar Rapids tomorrow night (3/29). The game will stream live on FloHockey.
