USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 28-44-3-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team and the Under-17 Team dropped their weekend contests. The U18s traveled to Youngstown for a couple of games against the Phantoms, but fell Friday (Jan. 24) 5-4, in a shootout, and Saturday (Jan. 25) in a 4-2 final from the Covelli Centre. The U17s played a home-and-home with the Muskegon Lumberjacks, dropping a 7-3 final inside Trinity Health Arena on Friday (Jan. 24) and an 8-1 contest on Saturday (Jan. 25) at USA Hockey Arena.
The U7s play the lone set of games this weekend as they host the Youngstown Phantoms at USA Hockey Arena on Thursday and Friday evening at at 7:00 p.m. ET before the third and final international break of the season.
