USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 24-38-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team swept their weekend games and the Under-17 Team dropped their lone contest. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to Muskegon and beat the Lumberjacks (SOW, 4-3, Jan. 3) before defeating Ferris State University in Big Rapids (W, 4-3, Jan. 4) on Saturday. The U17s fell to Muskegon at Trinity Health Arena (L, 3-2, Jan. 20) to close the weekend.
The U18s open the 2025 slate at USA Hockey Area this weekend as they host Tri-City and Green Bay in a three-in-three. The weekend begins with a 7 p.m. ET puck drop on both Friday (Jan. 10) and Saturday (Jan. 11) night against the Storm before wrapping Sunday (Jan. 12) afternoon against the Gamblers at 4 p.m. ET. The U17s head to Nebraska for a pair the Lincoln Stars with an 8:05 p.m. ET start on Friday night (Jan. 10) at the Ice Box and a 7:05 p.m. ET drop on Saturday (Jan. 11).
