U18s to face Muskegon, Ferris State; U17s play Muskegon

NTDP Notebook Week of December 30-January 4

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 22-37-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team and the Under-17 Team fell in their weekend games. The U17s dropped an 8-3 final on Friday (Dec. 27) and an 8-4 final on Saturday (Dec. 28) to the Chicago Steel at Fox Valley Ice Arena, while the U18s traveled to Tempe, Arizona, for a pair of games against the Arizona State University Sun Devils, but suffered a 4-3 loss on Saturday (Dec. 28) afternoon and a 1-0 loss on Sunday (Dec. 29).

Both the U18s and U17s are elsewhere in Michigan this weekend as the U18s travel to Muskegon to face-off against the Lumberjacks on Friday night (Jan. 3) at 7:10 p.m. ET. The following night (Saturday, Jan. 4), the U18s take on Ferris State University at 6:07 p.m. ET at the R.L. Ewigleben Sports Complex in Big Rapids. The U17s have their turn against the 'Jacks on Saturday night (Jan. 4) at Trinity Health Arena at 6:10 p.m. ET.

Overall Record: U18: 10-20-1-0 | U17: 12-17-2-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 6-15-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 13 PTS in 22 GP, 8th place in the Eastern Conference
