VIERUMÄKI, Finland - Jamie Glance (Stratham, N.H.) scored twice and Wyatt Cullen (Moorhead, Minn.) added three assists to lift the U.S. National Under-17 Team to a 5-1 win over Slovakia in the 2024 Vierumäki Cup semifinal.

With the win, Team USA improves to 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in tournament play and advances to the championship game tomorrow against Finland. Puck drop scheduled for 10:30 a.m. ET and the game can be streamed live here.

Glance made it a 2-0 game under a minute later, getting his stick on an initial JJ Marthaler (Superior, Wis.) rip from the point for the deflection. Beuker collected an assist on the play as well.

Logan Stuart (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) was the next to score, quickly swatting a Sammy Nelson (Maple Grove, Minn.) rebound out of mid-air for a power-play tally at 16:18. Cullen also earned an assist.

Glance scored his second of the game with 2:39 left in the first, a dagger from the left circle off a dish from Lukas Zajic (Plainfield, Ill.) across the zone set-up by Tyler Martyniuk (Washington Twp., Mich.).

Adam Obusek got the Slovaks on the board with 2:27 to play in the second with a power-play marker.

Luke Schairer (Charlotte, N.C.) made the 5-1 final 5:46 into the final frame. Plante grabbed a loose puck along the boards and sent it towards the point. It grazed Cullen en route to Schairer, who sent a beam far-side over the shoulder of Celko.

Luke Carrithers (Maple Grove, Minn.) made 21 saves to pick up his second win of the tournament and Schairer was named the U.S. player of game.
