U18s Host Muskegon before Pair of College Games; U17s Hit Second International Break

NTDP Notebook: Week of December 8-15/International Break No. 2

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 15-31-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team swept their weekend games. The U18s hosted a double-header against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, skating to wins on Friday (W, 2-0, Dec. 6) and Saturday (W, 4-1, Dec. 7), from USA Hockey Arena.

The U18s host Muskegon Wednesday (Dec. 11) for the annual Kid's Day Game at USA Hockey Arena at 10:30 a.m. ET before hitting the road this weekend as they travel east to face-off against the Boston University Terriers on Friday night (Dec. 13) at 7:00 p.m. ET and the University of New Hampshire Wildcats the following night (Saturday, Dec. 14) at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The U17s head into their second international break of the season as they look to claim the Vierumäki Cup in Finland, competing against Czechia, Finland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland for the title.

Overall Record: U18: 9-16-1-0 | U17: 8-15-2-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 5-13-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 11 PTS in 19 GP, 8th place in the Eastern Conference
