USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 15-27-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team and the Under-17 Team fell in their weekend slate. On Thursday night, the U18s hosted Michigan State University and fell to the Spartans (L, 6-2, Nov. 21). On Friday and Saturday night, the U18s dropped games to the Green Bay Gamblers (OTL, 5-4, Nov. 22; L, 6-3, Nov. 23).
The U18s are crossing the boarder this week as they travel to Ontario to compete in the inaugural CHL-USA Prospects Challenge on Tuesday (Nov. 26) at 7:00 p.m. ET from Budweiser Gardens and from Tribute Communities Centre the following night (Wednesday, Nov. 27) at 7:00 p.m. ET. The U17s host the Youngstown Phantoms on Wednesday night (Nov. 27) at USA Hockey Arena at 6:00 p.m. ET for the annual Thanksgiving Eve Game before the Des Moines Buccaneers come to town Friday for a 4:00 p.m. ET puck drop from USA Hockey Arena.
