PLYMOUTH, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program announced today that forwards Ben Kevan (Fairfield, Calif.) and Matthew Lansing (Tonawanda, N.Y.) will join Team USA's Under-18 Team for this week's CHL-USA Prospects Challenge in London and Oshawa, Ontario.

Both players have previously played with the NTDP this season. Kevan dressed in two NCAA contests with the U18s, registering two shots on goal at the University of Michigan back on October 25.
Lansing joined Team USA at the November U18 Five Nations in Tabor, Czechia, where he produced one assist against Czechia in four games played.
The two skaters were teammates on the U.S. team at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup that finished fourth in St. Paul, Minnesota. Lansing led Team USA with four goals in the tournament while Kevan added a goal and two assists across five games played.
With their USHL clubs this season, Kevan has produced 15 points (6G-9A) in 14 games with the Des Moines Buccaneers while Lansing has put up six points (4G-2A) in 16 games with the Waterloo Black Hawks.

CAPTAINS ANNOUNCED
The Under-18 Team has announced it's leadership group for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, beginning with this week's CHL-USA Prospects Challenge games in Canada. Defenseman Asher Barnett (Wilmette, Ill.) will wear the captain's "C" in all games for Team USA while a quartet of players were named alternate captains: defensemen Garrett Lindberg (Moorhead, Minn.) and Drew Schock IV (Green Bay, Wis.), along with forwards Conrad Fondrk (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Richard Gallant (Concord, Mass.). Lindberg and Fondrk will wear the "As" on the white jerseys while Schock and Gallant will do the same on Team USA's blue sweaters.
