U17s to Make Home Debut; U18s Continue College Play

NTDP Notebook Week of October 13-19

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 10-10-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team and the Under-17 Team split their weekend games.

On Saturday night, the U18s topped Robert Morris University (W, 3-2, Oct. 12) from USA Hockey Arena for their first collegiate win of the year after dropping their home opener to Lake Superior State University (L, 6-1, Oct. 11) the night before. The U17s topped the Sioux City Musketeers Saturday evening (W, 3-2, Oct. 12) from the Tyson Events Center after falling in their USHL debut on Friday to the Sioux (L, 7-2, Oct. 11).

The U17s host the Muskegon Lumberjacks for a double-header at USA Hockey Arena with puck drops scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday (Oct. 18) and Saturday (Oct. 19). The U18s are back on the road as they continue college play with a pair of matchups in the Bay State. They face Harvard University at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday (Oct. 18) before playing Boston College at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday (Oct. 19).

Overall Record: U18: 4-6-0-0 | U17: 6-4-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 3-3-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 6 PTS in 6 GP, 6th place in the Eastern Conference
