USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 8-8-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the Under-18 Team dropped their weekend contests and the Under-17 Team swept their weekend games.
The U18s traveled to Notre Dame and fell to the Irish on Friday (L, 5-2, Oct. 4), then were defeated by Western Michigan University on Saturday night from Lawson Ice Arena (L, 4-1, Oct. 5). The U17s swept the Minnesota Elite League All-Stars at New Hope Ice Arena on Saturday afternoon (W, 5-3, Oct. 5), then again on Sunday morning (W, 5-4, Oct. 6).
The U18s are back at USA Hockey Arena this weekend for the 2024-25 season home opener as part of Hocktoberfest. They take on Lake State University on Friday night (Oct. 11) at 7:00 p.m. ET, then the following night (Saturday, Oct. 12), they host Robert Morris University at 7:00 p.m. ET. The U17s open USHL play with a doubleheader in Sioux City against the Musketeers with an 8:05 p.m. puck drop on Friday night (Oct. 11) at Tyson Events Center and a 7:05 p.m. start time on Saturday (Oct. 12).
