U18s to play final game before leaving for World Championship

NTDP Notebook Week of April 1-7

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 48-41-6-6 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s split their weekend games and the U17s dropped one. On Thursday night, the U17s hosted Madison and fell to the Capitols (L, 4-0, March 28). On Saturday night, the U18s defeated the Saints in Dubuque (SOW, 5-4, March 29), before dropping a Saturday night matchup the following night (OTL, 7-6, March 30) inside Dubuque Ice Arena.

The U18s are set-up for a home-and-home this weekend as they travel to Muskegon to face-off against the Lumberjacks on Friday night (April 5) at 7:10 p.m. ET, before hosting Muskegon Saturday (April 6) at 7:00 p.m. ET from USA Hockey Arena for their final game before taking off for the 2024 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship in Finland. The U17s hit the road for a double-header against Madison. Friday (April 5) and Saturday (April 6) night's puck drops are sent for 8:05 p.m. ET from Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena.

Overall Record: U18: 30-15-3-3 | U17: 18-26-3-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 19-32-2-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 43 PTS in 56 GP, 8th place in the Eastern Conference
