USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 41-33-5-4 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s and the U17s split the weekend. On Friday night, the U18s hosted Lincoln and beat the Stars (W, 5-3, Feb. 23). The following night, the U17s had their chance against the Stars at USA Hockey Arena, but fell by a 3-1 count (L, Feb. 24).
The U18s are home again this weekend as they host a three-game set at USA Hockey Arena. The action kicks off Friday against the Waterloo Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m. ET. The U18s take on the Madison Capitols at 7:00 p.m. ET the following night (Saturday, March 2), before closing out the weekend with a 4:00 p.m. ET tilt against the Green Bay Gamblers on Sunday (March 3). The U17s hit the road for a series against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders beginning Friday night (March 1) at ImOn Ice Arena with an 8:05 p.m. ET puck drop before a rematch the following night (Saturday, March 2) at 8:05 p.m. ET. The U17s wrap up their weekend from Buccaneer Arena on Sunday (March 3) as they play a matinee against Des Moines at 4:00 p.m. ET.
