USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 44-19-0-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s and the U17s swept their weekend games. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to Cedar Rapids and beat the RoughRiders (W, 7-6, Jan. 19). On Saturday night, the U18s defeated the Steel in Chicago (W, 6-3, Jan. 20), and the U17s defeated the Sioux Falls Stampede at USA Hockey Arena (W, 4-3, Jan. 20).
The U18s stay home this weekend as they host the Niagara University Purple Eagles on Thursda night (Jan. 25) at 7:00 p.m. ET. The following night (Friday, Jan. 26), the U17s have their turn in the home barn as they square off with the Youngstown Phantoms at 7:00 p.m. ET. The U17s then hit the road and head to Youngstown on Saturday night (Jan. 27) at the Covelli Centre at 7:05 p.m. ET.
