USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 44-19-0-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s split their weekend games and the U17s dropped theirs. The U18s traveled to Sioux Falls and fell to the Stampede on Thursday night (L, 7-4, Jan. 11) before topping them the following night (W, 8-5, Jan. 12). The U17s hosted the Dubuque Fighting Saints and fell Friday (L, 6-1, Jan. 12) and again Saturday (L, 4-2, Jan. 13) at USA Hockey Arena.
Both teams are back at USA Hockey Arena this weekend as the NTDP hosts a double header against the Chicago Steel. The U17s kick off the action Friday night (Jan. 19) at 7:00 p.m. ET followed by the U18s on Saturday (Jan. 20) with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
