PLYMOUTH, Mich. - All 19 draft-eligible members of the 2023-24 U.S. National Under-18 Team and a trio of NTDP alums were named to the National Hockey League Central Scouting's Midseason rankings ahead of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The draft is set to take place June 28-29 at Sphere in Las Vegas. 

The NTDP had a trio of players ranked in the top-32 North American skaters, indicating a possible first-round selection in the upcoming draft. Alum and current University of Denver defenseman Zeev Buium (San Diego, Calif.) topped the rankings at number four overall. Cole Eiserman (Newburyport, Mass.), the third overall leading goal scorer in the history of the NTDP, was the first current player ranked at number eight overall. Center Kamil Bednarik (Chicago, Ill.) rounded out the NTDP representation up top, coming in at 22nd overall. 

Also seeing their names on the midseason list were defensemen Sam Laurila (Moorhead, Minn.) and John Whipple (Minnetonka, Minn.) at 102nd 106th, respectively. They were followed by alum and current Youngstown Phantoms forward Charlie Cerrato (Fallston, Md.) at 180, and current Notre Dame commit Charlie Pardue (Winnetka, Ill.), ranked at 186. 

Rounding out the NTDP skaters were Brendan McMorrow (Lakeville, Minn.) at 203 and blueliner Noah Lapointe (Hinsdale, Ill.) at 207.

Both NTDP netminders were ranked among the top eligible goalies; Nick Kempf (Chicago, Ill.) was the second-ranked goalie and Jack Parsons (Ithaca, N.Y.) followed closely behind at sixth. 

Current NTDP players Logan Hensler (Woodbury, Minn.), James Hagens (Hauppauge, N.Y.), Shane Vansaghi (St. Louis, Mo.) and Dakoda Rheaume-Mullen (Northville, Mich.) are not age-eligible for this year's draft and will be eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft after next season.
