USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program return from the holiday break with a 29-15-5-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s defeated the Chicago Steel (W, 8-5, Dec. 13), then fell to Youngstown (L, 5-3, Dec. 15; L, 5-3, Dec. 16), and the U17s swept their four-game set in Europe (Jungadler Mannheim U20, W, 9-1, Dec. 12; Kölner EC U20, W, 5-3, Dec. 13; Jungadler Mannheim U20, W, 8-1, Dec. 14; Bern U20, W, 7-4, Dec. 16)

The U18s kick off the action this weekend as they host the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Thursday afternoon (Dec. 28) at 4:00 p.m. ET. On Saturday (Dec. 30), they take on the University of North Dakota at 7:07 p.m. ET at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and round out play for the weekend on New Year's Day (Jan. 1) against the University of Minnesota at 3:00 p.m. ET. The U17s return to USHL play with their lone matchup this year against the Waterloo Black Hawks on Thursday night (Dec. 28) at Young Arena at 8:05 p.m. ET and travel to Green Bay to face-off against the Gamblers the following night (Dec. 29) at 8:05 p.m. ET, then again on Saturday (Dec. 30) at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Overall Record: U18: 17-7-2-1 | U17: 12-8-3-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 9-11-1-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 20 PTS in 22 GP, 7th place in the Eastern Conference
