MANNHEIM, Germany Joey Slavick (Westland, Mich.) earned up his first win of the season and eight different U.S. skaters scored as the U.S. National Under-17 Team defeated the Jungadler Mannheim U20 team, 9-1, Tuesday evening at the SAP Arena.

Jake Stuart (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) netted his first of the season just shy of the five-minute mark of the opening stanza, with Asher Barnett (Wilmette, Ill.) and Will Belle (Minnetonka, Minn.) picking up assists.

Mannheim tied things with 3:50 left, but Drew Schock (Green Bay, Wis.) regained the lead in the final :34 of the period, thanks to a set up by Andrew O'Neill (Fargo, N.D.) and Will Moore (Ithaca, N.Y.).

The U17s came out buzzing in the second period, racking up five goals. LJ Mooney (West Mifflin, Pa.) got things rolling with an unassisted goal with 7:50 to play, then Moore scored his first of the night, good for his tenth of the season, with Carter Amico (Westbrook, Maine) recording an assist on the play.

Cole McKinney (Lake Forest, Ill.) added his name to the scoresheet with just over five-minutes left in the period to make it a 5-1 game. He was set up by Conrad Fondrk (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Barnett.

Belle scored on the power play moments later at the hands of Mooney and Amico, then Moore notched his second with just eight seconds left in the middle frame. Cullen Potter (Plymouth, Minn.) and Donny Bracco (Freeport, N.Y.) recorded helpers.

Haeden Ellis (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Barnett rounded out the scoring in the third, exactly two minutes apart and both with their first of the season. Ellis found the back of the net unassisted, while Barnett burried power-play tally off a play by Amico and Mooney.

The U17s continue their Euro tour tomorrow at Lanxess Arena as they take on the Kölner EC U20 team at 1:00 p.m. ET.
