USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 24-13-5-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s and split their weekend games. They traveled to Upstate New York and beat St. Lawrence University Friday evening at Appleton Arena (W, 8-4, Dec. 8), before falling to Clarkson University the following night (OTL, 3-2, Dec. 9).
The U18s play a three-game set this week as they host the Chicago Steel on Wednesday morning (Dec. 13) at 10:30 a.m. ET. On Friday, they head to the Covelli Centre to take on the Youngstown Phantoms at 7:05 p.m. ET, before hosting the Phantoms the following night (Dec. 16) at 7:00 p.m. ET for the Annual Teddy Bear Toss. The U17s are back overseas to play four games against three different U20 European teams, beginning with Jungadler Mannheim U20 at SAP Arena on Tuesday (Dec. 12, 11:00 a.m. ET), followed by Kölner EC U20 at Lanxess Arena on Wednesday (Dec. 13, 12:30 p.m. ET); Jungadler Mannheim U20 at SAP Arena on Thursday (Dec. 14, 1:00 p.m. ET); and Bern U20 on Saturday (Dec. 16, 1:00 p.m. ET) at PostFinance Arena.
