USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 79-28-4-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U17s split their weekend series against Green Bay. On Friday night, the U17s hosted Green Bay and fell in their initial game (L, 6-3, April 14). On Saturday night, the U17s closed out play at home for the regular season with an overtime win inside USA Hockey Arena against Cedar Rapids (OTW, 2-1, April 15).
The U17s close out the USHL regular season with a pair against the Phantoms. Team USA will face the Phantoms both Friday (April 21) and Saturday (April 22) at 7:00 p.m. ET. With a Team USA win in regulation, the U.S. would secure a first-round bye in the USHL's Clark Cup Playoffs and would begin playoffs on Saturday, April 29.
