Team USA Wraps Up Homestand Prior To International Break

U18s and U17s each host a game against the USHL's Madison Capitols

NTDP Notebook Week of Jan. 30-Feb. 5

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this week with a 52-19-2-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s and the U17s swept their weekend games. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to Bowling Green State and beat the Falcons (W, 6-3, Jan. 27). On the same night back at USA Hockey Arena, the U17s took down Dubuque in overtime for their second game against the Fighting Saints that required extra time (OTW, 5-4, Jan. 27). The following night, the U18s took on Dubuque and also took care of business in overtime (OTW, 4-3, Jan. 28). The weekend concluded with a U17 win, in overtime once again, against the Chicago Steel (OTW, 5-4, Jan. 29).

Team USA continues their homestand at USA Hockey Arena as both teams will host the Madison Capitols before both teams head overseas for international play. The U18s are set to play Thursday (Feb. 2) against the Capitols with puck drop at 7:00 p.m. ET, while the U17s will wrap up the series on Friday (Feb. 3) at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Overall Record: U18: 30-6-1-2 | U17: 22-13-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 20-11-1-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 43 PTS in 34 GP, 3rd place in the Eastern Conference
