USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 48-18-2-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s and U17s each took a game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The U17s hosted the Lumberjacks Friday inside USA Hockey arena for the team's sole game of the weekend and came out on top (W, 5-4, Jan. 20). The U18s followed suit with their only game of the weekend at Muskegon and took home the win for a Team USA sweep (W, 7-4, Jan. 21).
It's a busy week for USA Hockey's NTDP with a total of five games at hand, with three tilts on home ice. The U18s open up the week Tuesday (Jan. 24) as they travel to Adrian College, followed by a visit to Bowling Green State University Friday (Jan. 27) for a pair of Kroger College Series games. While the U18s are at Bowling Green, the U17s will play host to the Dubuque Fighting Saints Friday (Jan. 27), followed along by the U18s facing off against the Fighting Saints the following night (Jan. 28). The U17s close out the weekend with another USHL matchup as the Chicago Steel come to town on Sunday (Jan. 29). All games, other than Sunday, are slated to being at 7:00 p.m. ET. Puck drop for Sunday's game is set for 4:00 p.m. ET.
