U18s Host Thanksgiving Eve Game Before Road Slate; U17s Travel to Youngstown

U18s play host to Youngstown prior to Kroger College Series games against Boston University and Yale University; U17s travel for a pair of USHL matchups

NTDP Notebook Week of Nov. 21-27

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 31-7-0-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record after the U18s and the U17s split their weekend games. On Friday night, the U18s traveled to Western New York and fell to Niagara University (L, 8-5, Nov. 18) while the U17s hosted Cedar Rapids and won, 4-3. On Saturday night, the U18s defeated RIT (W, 4-1, Nov. 19), and the U17s dropped their game against the RoughRiders at USA Hockey Arena (L, 8-2, Nov. 19).

The U18s are home for a single game against the Youngstown Phantoms followed by a weekend on the road to face-off against Boston University (Nov. 26) at 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by Yale University (Nov. 27) at 4:00 p.m. ET. The U17s travel down I-80 to face the Youngstown Phantoms for a pair of games on Friday (Nov. 25) at 7:00 p.m. ET followed by Saturday (Nov. 26) at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Overall Record: U18: 18-2-0-1 | U17: 13-5-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)

Team USA USHL Record: 8-3-0-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 17 PTS in 12 GP, 3rd place in the Eastern Conference
